• ZTVZ & Martox – “Aguacero”: Dos de los actos de indie alt-pop más populares del Caribe se han unido esta semana. Puerto Rico’s ZTVZ and the Dominican Republic’s Martox have collaborated on “Aguacero,” a breezy pop fusion with electronic flourishes built for an open-air dancefloor.

The global indie radar is heavily tuned into the Dominican Republic this week, where a new wave of producers and songwriters are redefining the island’s alternative output.

• SNENiE – “Pierdo La Memoria”: SNENiE continues her march toward a sophomore album with her newest entry, which she calls “Caribbean dream soul”. The Dominican singer-songwriter draws on soul and R&B, threading them with the vibrations of home.
• El Viaje Neón de Adriel.sfx: El productor electrónico dominicano Adriel.sfx finalmente ha lanzado su nuevo LP, VOLTAENTRADA. Blending IDM, baile funk, and chiptune, the album is described as a trippy midnight stroll through a neon-lit city. El disco cuenta con una impresionante lista de invitados de la escena indie latinoamericana, incluyendo a Labajura y Tachi Waves.
• Madi Díaz – “Why’d You Have To Bring Me Flowers”: En la esfera del indie global, Madi Díaz ha entregado un tema emocionalmente contundente. The track does not rely on a slow tempo or minor chords to feel heavy; instead, it aches through expressive vocal performances that pack a melodic punch.
