Weather was fantastic, the night before Meat Puppets, Sound City Players and Stevie Nicks rocked the stage over at Stubb’s, rumors about a secret Daft Punk show were spreading all over and posters were getting snatched, public enemy, Ll cool J and Ice Cube also performed the night before – Friday 15th – Cuatro! and Broadway Idiot Premiered @ Paramount Theatre for a later Green Day performance at ACL Live, windy, energy challenge, pedicab motion, schedule times changes, check in, check out, Flatstock essence, Jet Set Go…
Friday started with Vampire Weekend showcase at the Radio Day Stage, almost everyone out with badges around that time was present… Another show full to capacity… many left outside but staff kept doors open.
Vampire Weekend was another Great Band part of sxsw to showcase and introduce their new album Modern Vampires of the City available May 7… The Fang Gang still has its touch and preserve their unique melodic seal… fans chanted, tunes and joy filled the room.
