What’s buzzing in the ATX music scene this week:

The city is shifting gears into the fall festival season, and traffic will be heavy downtown starting around 5 PM. It is highly recommended to grab a Lime scooter or hop on CapMetro to bypass the gridlock near Red River and East 6th Street!

This weekend is anchored by LEVITATION 2026, bringing an incredible roster of global independent and underground rock acts. It is the perfect opportunity to catch massive international names alongside our historic local staples.

The buzzy alfresco venue is packed with food trucks and plenty of picnic tables, offering a sprawling backyard environment that is perfect for catching heavy global independent rock sets.

  • The Lineup: Bikini Kill headlines a blistering lineup that includes Die Spitz, Gibby Haynes, Sweeping Promises, Melt Banana, and Powerplant.
  • The Vibe: High-energy punk and experimental underground sounds under the stars.
  • Logistics: The venue is currently closed but opens at 2:00 PM, with the show going late into the night.

Hosted by former NFL player Nate Boyer’s Merging Vets & Players (MVP) organization, this free community event combines live music with a silent auction to support active-duty military and veterans.

  • The Lineup: Grupo Duelo brings their massive GRAVEDAD TOUR 2026 to the main stage.
