Straight out of Melbourne, Australia, and wrapped in shimmering ’80s-inflected jangle-pop guitars, a driving rhythm section, and deceptively upbeat melodies, breakout indie-rock quartet Radio Free Alice—featuring Noah Learmonth (vocals/guitar), Jules Paradiso (guitar), Michael Phillips (bass), and Lochie Dowd (drums)—have officially unleashed their brand-new music video for: «The Intersection».
Arriving as a standout track from their highly anticipated debut studio album, What’s In Between (released October 30, 2026, via Atlantic Records following a celebrated string of EPs including Polyester and Empty Words), «The Intersection» pairs surprisingly buoyant instrumentation with a heavy, poignant narrative. Frontman Noah Learmonth explains that beneath the surface glitter, the song is ultimately a love story centered on involuntary psychiatric hospitalization—featuring striking lines like “Sent me books on love and sex and / Sent me books whilst I was sectioned” and grappling with medication, strict ward regulations, and the bittersweet return home to parents where “it wasn’t glass that cut my hand.” Directed by Kevin Lombardo, the official music video captures the band performing inside a stark white art gallery bathed in pale, clinical blue-green tones that subtly nod to the song’s institutional backdrop. Having already proven their explosive live energy at festivals like Bilbao BBK Live, the band is gearing up to bring these new anthems across the globe, including an upcoming sold-out headline show at Barcelona’s Sala Sidecar on November 27.
The MusicWayATX Verdict: “The Intersection” is a triumph of melodic contrast, sharp storytelling, and effervescent post-punk energy. Radio Free Alice prove they are one of the most exciting new guitar acts on the global stage. We dig the Raw take for this track @ 3:22
