Get ready to take a nostalgic flight back to the golden era of guitar-driven British pop-rock! Proving once again why his melodic instincts remain razor-sharp, acclaimed singer-songwriter James Blunt has officially dropped the stunning, cinematic music video for his latest single: «Circles». Directed by Jack Howard and produced by Untold Studios, the visual pairs breathtaking natural landscape aesthetics with warm, melancholic lighting that mirrors the track’s deeply reflective heart.

• The Anatomy of a Britpop Revival: Serving as the third official preview single leading up to his highly anticipated eighth studio album, Airplane Mode—slated to land on November 6, 2026—«Circles» finds Blunt reconnecting directly with the musical roots that shaped his early career. Sonically, the track embraces an undeniable retro-nostalgic vibe, drawing heavy inspiration from the shimmering guitars, emotional candor, and anthemic songcraft of late ’90s and early 2000s Britpop. It’s a brilliant, refreshing pivot that blends his trademark vocal intimacy with an expansive, driving groove designed for late-night drives and stadium sing-alongs alike.
• Countdown to Airplane Mode: With three stellar singles now out in the wild, Blunt’s upcoming November album is shaping up to be one of the most exciting and cohesive releases of his legendary catalog.

The MusicWayATX Verdict: “Circles” is a triumph of nostalgic songwriting and cinematic execution. James Blunt delivers a masterclass in modern Britpop, proving that great melodies only get better with time.
