- Tone Royal Day: According to the Austin Chronicle, the City of Austin has officially proclaimed today, September 25th, as “Tone Royal Day”! This honors the incredible career and contributions of the local hip-hop artist and songwriter. To celebrate, there’s a massive free live show tonight at Chalmers featuring Tone Royal himself, alongside local favorites like Henry Invisible and Brooklyn Michelle.
- New Media Art & Sound Summit: The COTFG New Media Art & Sound Summit 2026 is kicking off today and runs all weekend at the Cherrywood Center. It’s a great spot to catch experimental sounds and visual arts on the East Side.
- A Touch of Local Rock History: It’s a huge weekend for classic Austin indie rock, with hometown heroes …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead taking over the outdoor stage at The Far Out Lounge tonight!
