Get ready for a rush of late-night adrenaline, hazy party lights, and the unmistakable sting of unexpected encounters! Formed in Nashville in 2016 by cousins Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta (alongside powerhouse drummer Nick Sainato), alt-pop trio Nightly—whose clever moniker stems from their signature text sign-off, “night, love you”—have officially dropped their gripping new single and music video: «SOS».

• The Anatomy of a Party Déjà Vu: Serving as the fourth track on their brand-new album, THE VOID PART 2 (released October 16, 2026), “SOS” dives headfirst into the dizzying anxiety and temptation of running into an ex-partner unexpectedly at a crowded social gathering. Capeci’s emotive vocal delivery paints a vivid picture of the scene, zeroing in on the magnetic yet haunting sight of her walking in wearing an “all-black dress.” Musically, the track pairs shimmering synth-driven alt-pop textures with a pulsing, driving rhythm that perfectly mirrors that frantic, stomach-dropping feeling of emotional déjà vu. It’s a masterclass in turning vulnerability and awkward late-night tension into an undeniable stadium-sized hook.
• A Decade of Refined Alt-Pop Craft: From their Philly roots to building a deeply loyal global fanbase in Music City, Nightly continue to prove with THE VOID PART 2 that they are absolute masters at capturing the bittersweet complexities of modern romance and heartbreak.

The MusicWayATX Verdict: “SOS” is a triumph of atmospheric alt-pop and relatable storytelling. Nightly deliver a high-octane anthem that turns a late-night panic into pure melodic catharsis.
