Get ready to soak in the ultimate juxtaposition of shimmering indie pop hooks and bittersweet emotional realism! Marking their triumphant first new release in nearly three years, beloved Australian indie pop trio San Cisco are officially back. The Fremantle band has dropped their highly anticipated single and official music video: «Miles Away».

• The Anatomy of Sun-Drenched Disconnection: True to the signature sound that has made them global indie darlings, “Miles Away” pairs insanely bright, danceable melodies and breezy guitars with a deeply melancholic core. As revealed in their recent feature with Rolling Stone AU/NZ, the song navigates the haunting contrast of being physically right next to someone while feeling completely universes apart emotionally. That subtle tension between glowing production and introspective lyrical ache creates an instant classic in the band’s catalog. The accompanying official music video captures that same sun-soaked yet detached atmosphere, beautifully visually translating the quiet isolation that can exist right inside intimacy.
• A Triumphant Three-Year Return: Ending a multi-year creative hiatus, this release signals a fresh and vibrant new era for San Cisco, proving that their knack for infectious pop songwriting and emotional honesty remains sharper than ever.

The MusicWayATX Verdict: “Miles Away” is a triumph of indie pop craftsmanship and bittersweet storytelling. San Cisco deliver an absolute groove that hits your feet and your heart all at once.
