Get ready to track down an explosive auditory escape from the mundane because Italian alternative upstarts Olga Psicotica have officially arrived with a vengeance! Following a serendipitous discovery in June that instantly revealed massive untapped potential, the quartet—comprising Matteo on drums, Lorenzo on lead guitar, Gabriele on bass, and Simone on rhythm guitar and vocals—has delivered their defining, conceptual full-length studio album: Il Treno Ha Fischiato. Accompanied by a brand-new music video for the standout track «Broccato di Damasco», this record is an uncompromised masterclass in modern rock evolution.

• The Anatomy of a Train Whistle Rebellion: Named in brilliant tribute to Luigi Pirandello’s classic short story—where the shriek of a train whistle serves as a sudden, awakening escape from the suffocating prison of everyday life (“Life as they sell it to us is not enough for us”)—the 14-track album is a tense, cinematic emotional journey born directly out of the band’s rehearsal room sweat. Sonically, it spans an awe-inspiring spectrum: from the blistering, raw, acid-tongued punk fury of opening track «Intromessi» (reminiscent of early punk anarchy) and the jangling, purifying catharsis of standout gem «Ned Ludd» (channeling early R.E.M. vibes), to the Verdena-esque introspection of «Senza sound», the Sonic Youth-tinged grit of «Supedose», and the Johnny Marr-style guitar textures of «Foglie».
• The Cinematic Finale and Visual Drop: The journey peaks with tracks like the deeply original «Qualsiasi cosa tu voglia», the futuristic yet retro sweat of «Torpore Corrosivo», and the intricate, finely woven tapestry of «Broccato di Damasco», before closing out on the deceptively simple, Rolling Stones-nodding painful farewell balladeer «Complicato». Marking the release, the brand-new official video for “Broccato di Damasco” translates the band’s sophisticated sonic textures into a striking visual experience.

The MusicWayATX Verdict: Il Treno Ha Fischiato is a triumph of uncompromised alternative rock, literary depth, and relentless musical instinct. Olga Psicotica have proven they possess talent and attitude to burn.
